Roger Emile Bessette
Mr. Roger Emile Bessette, age 71, of St. Albans, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2013 following a long illness surrounded by his loving family. Roger was born in Winooski, September 15, 1942, son of the late Armand and Lea (Santerre) Bessette. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his grandsons. He owned and operated Rogers Market and Service Center. He worked at Century Arms and Bob’s Gun Shop.
Roger is survived by his wife Ann (Prevost) Bessette, his daughter Christine Baranik and her husband Richard, two grandsons Dylan and Cody all of St. Albans, his sisters Pauline Lee of Milton, Jeanette Prevost and her husband Cliff of Florida, Anne Lindsay and her husband Mark of Milton, Christine Blackmore and her husband David of Underhill, his brother Bernard Bessette and his wife Mary of Connecticut, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and a sister Claire Brunelle.
Roger’s family would like to thank Dr. Corrigan and staff, the St. Albans Dialysis staff, Northwestern Medical Center and Fletcher Allen for all the wonderful care you gave to Roger.
A Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 13, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. in the Brady & Levesque Funeral Chapel. Friends may call at the funeral home, 86 South Main St., from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of the funeral. Interment will be in the St. Albans Bay Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.
