Herbert Bessette
PALM COAST – Hebert H. Bessetet, 76, of Beechwood Lane, a retired truck driver for American Optical, died Sunday at Florida Hospital Flagler. Mr. Bessette, an Army veteran of the Korean War, was born in Pottersville, N.Y. He moved to this area in 1980 from Spencer, Mass. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8696. Mr. Bessette enjoyed golfing and fishing. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Loretta; two sons, Mark, Ovideo, and Michael, Georgetown; two brothers, Peter and George, both of Ticonderogao, N.Y.; a sister, Grace Smith of Putnam, N.Y.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Craig-Flagler Palms, Flagler Beach, is in charge.

Herbert Henry Bessette
Funeral Mass celebrating the life of Herbert Henry Bessette, 76, Beechwood Lane, Palm Coast, who passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2006, at Florida Hospital Flagler, will be held on Thursday, July 13, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 4600 Belle Terre Parkway, Palm Coast. His family will receive friends today (Wednesday, July 12) from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Craig Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Rd. South, Flagler Beach, and also from 9:30 a.m. until the 10:30 Mass on Thursday in the Memorial Room at the church. Interment will follow the Mass at Hillside Cemeery, Ormond Beach. Arrangements are in the care and trust of Craig Flagler Palms Funeral Home.
