Frances B. Ellison
Mars Hill ? Frances Bass Ellison, 75, of 113 Honeycutt Drive, died Friday, Feb. 9, 1996. She was born Sept. 30, 1920, in Buncombe County where she had lived most of her life. She was a daughter of the late Rutledge and Nettie Teague Bass and the wife of Isaac Ellison, who died in 1982. Surviving are her sisters, Peggy Edwards of Mars Hill, Kathleen Smith of Asheville and Georgia McFarland of Hamilton, Ohio; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in West Memorial Park with the Rev. Jerry Myers officiating. At other times the family will be at the home of Kathleen Smith, 362 Emma Road, Asheville. West Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
