Mary Lou (Fallen) Johnson
Mary Lou (Fallen) Johnson, 76, died on Thursday, November 7, 2002 at the St. Simeon's Center in Tulsa, OK. Mrs. Johnson was born May 30, 1926 in Rogers, Ark. the daughter of James Oscar and Carrie Nellie (Bassett) Fallen. She graduated from Tulsa's Central High School and attended Tulsa University. She married William Terry "Bill" Johnson June 16, 1946. They were married 54 years when Bill died on September 15, 2000. She worked for many years at First Christian Church as a bookkeeper. She was a member of chapter CY of PEO sisterhood and the Phi Mu Sorority. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who will be greatly missed by her family.
Survivors: daughter, Patricia Gayle "Patti" Matthews and her husband, Sandy, of Enid, OK.; sons, James Robert Johnson and Daniel Stuart Johnson, both of Tulsa, OK.; grandchildren: Erin Johnson of Owasso, OK., Stacey Crockett of Tulsa, OK., Lauren Johnson of Owasso, OK., and Will Matthews, a student at Oklahoma State University.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Alison Matthews on January 16, 2001 and her sister, Imogene McHenry.
Services will be Monday, November 11, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. in the Memorial Chapel of the First Christian Church with the Rev. Phillip Ball officiating. Interment will follow in Floral Haven Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be: Sanford T. Matthews, William S. Matthews, Rand McHenry, Charles Copeland, Dick R. Rogers, and Dewey Daniels.
