Joan was born in New haven on February 20th, 1930. Daughter to the late Charles and Alice Bassett Urquhart. She was also predeceased by a sister the late Beverly Staffa. Joan ?Momma? was a loving devoted mother and grandmother. She leaves behind 4 children: Roy Franco and wife Mariann of S.C., Dan Franco, Sr. and wife Brenda of FL., Joan A Franco of TN, Pete Franco and wife Norma of New Haven. She also leaves 6 grandchildren: Dan Franco Jr. (Wendy), Joan Acampora (Richie), Laura Derenzo (AJ), Lisa Clark (Anthony), Joseph and Jeana Annunziata. She also leaves 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A mass will be held at a later date and time. All donations can be made to the Humane Society.
