  Notes	Find-a-Grave Obituary Frederick Calvin Bass PIEDMONT ? Graveside services for Frederick Calvin Bass, 44, of Piedmont, Route 3, will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. atg Goshen Cemetery with Rev. Robert Holland officiating and Thompson Funeral Home in charge. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 tonight. Mr. Bass died Sunday in Cherokee County. Survivors include his wife, Donna Bass of Piedmont; a daughter, Michele Downey of Piedmont; two sons, Jason Bass and Jeffery Bass, both of Piedmont; a sister, Yvonne Owens of Cave Spring, Ga.; two brothers, Donald Bass and Gary Bass, both of Piedmont; and a grandchild. Pallbearers will be military. A lifelong Piedmont resident, Mr. Bass was employed with Anniston Army Depot. He served 21 years in the National Guard, served in Operation Desert Storm and was a member of Goshen United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Goshen United Methodist Church, to the Piedmont Rescue Squad or to the Spring Garden Tip-Off Club.
