Robert B. Bassett
Graveside funeral services for Robert B. Bassett, 58, who died Tuesday in his apartment in the Frye Hotel, will be held at 9:30 o?clock Saturday forenoon in Holyrood.
Friends will gather at 9 o?clock in the John Kallin funeral home.
Mr. Bassett was born in Fargo, N.D., and came to Seattle 12 years ago. Until recently he lived in West Seattle. He was an office employe of the Northern Railway, and a veteran of the First World War.
Survivors include his wife, Opal; his mother, Mrs. Anna Bassett, Fargo, and a sister Miss Margaret Bassett, Fargo.

R.B. Bassett Succumbs
Robert B. Bassett, 58, of the Frye Hotel, died Tuesday.
Born in Fargo, N.D., Mr. Bassett came to Seattle 12 years ago. He lived at 8009-37th Ave. S.W. prior to moving to the Frye two months ago.
Mr. Bassett was a retired clerical worker for the Northern Pacific Railway. He also was one of the first members of the Railroad Retirement Board.
Mr. Bassett was an Army veteran of World War I.
Surviving are his wife, Opal; his mother, Mrs. Anna Bassett; a sister, Miss Margaret Bassett, both of Fargo, and two nephews.
Graveside services, under the direction of the John Kalin funeral home, will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in Holyrood Cemetery. Friends and relatives are requested to meet at the funeral home at 9 a.m.
