She had struggled with cancer since early November. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan 21, 1995 at 1:00 p.m. in the Osmond Ward Chapel.... Interment will be in the Afton Cemetery. Lucile was born in Georgetown, ID June 24, 1909 to Joseph Maurice Tippets and Hannah Emmorette (Retta) Wixom the oldest of 13 children.... she married Ammon Fransillo Bassett from Osmond.... They were married June 20, 1928 in the Logan Temple.... Lucile and Ammon had 12 children, eight sons and four daughters. Her husband and son Harlo preceded her in death. Survivors include Earl Dean, Ogden; Clarence, Brigham City; Mrs. Lance (Theda) Draper, Salt Lake City; Nevin, Sunset; Mrs Roger (Nellie) Cole, Boise, ID; Mrs. Paul (LaRae) Bihler, Santa Cruz, CA; Weldon, Freedom; Melvin and Ronald, Osmond; Mrs. Robert (Mary Jean) Strawn, Providence, UT; and Alan, Ogden...."

OSMOND, Wyoming - Lucile Tippets Bassett, 85, died January 15, 1995. Born June 24, 1909, in Georgetown, Idaho, to Joseph Maurice and Rette Wixom Tippets. She married Ammon Fransillo Bassett June 20, 1928 in the Logan Utah Temple. They lived together 61 years up Dry Creek Canyon, Osmond, Wyoming. Survivors include, children, Earl Dean; Clarence; Theda Draper; Nevin; Nellie Cole: Larae Bihler; Weldon; Melvin, Ronald, Alan; Mary Jean Strawn; 57 grandchildrdn, 64 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Survived by six brothers and two sisters, Reed, Joseph, Thad, John, Wayne and Lewis; Mildred Gomm and LaRue Brown. Funeral services 1 p.m. Saturday, January 21st, in the Osmond, Wyoming Ward Chapel. Friends may call Friday, 7-9 p.m. at Schwab's Mortuary, Afton, Wyo, or at the ward from 11 to 12:30 p.m. prior. Interment, Afton Cemetery.
