Pearl Ruth Bessette
Pearl Ruth Bessette, 84, Crandon, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, October 20, 2009. Pearl was born in Argonne on February 3, 1925, the daughter of the late Abraham and Pearl (Bodoh) Bessette.
Pearl was a wonderful cook who spent many years cooking at many of the local restaurants. She was best known for her excellent soups and pancakes. Pearl was an avid member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Crandon. Pearl loved spending time with her family and she will be deeply missed.
She is survived by: Daughters: Janice (Mike) DeBay, Rhinelander; Cindy (Lloyd) Beeler, Little Suamico; Son: Doug (Elaine) Bessette, Fond du Lac; Sisters: Carol Krueger, Green Bay; Madaline Lockard, St Mary's, Idaho; Angeline Knapek, Deerbrook; Mary Anne (Harold) Jezeski, Argonne; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents, Abraham & Pearl; sisters, Lela, Leta, Mayme, May & Louise; and brother, Harvey.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24, from 11 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. at the Weber-Hill Funeral Home, Crandon. Funeral mass will follow at 1 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Crandon with Father John Gerritts officiating. Interment will be at Crandon Lakeside cemetery. Online condolences to www.
