  Notes	The Knoxville News-Sentinel, Tennessee April 4, 2003 Boyd A. Bassett BASSETT, Boyd A. - age 87, formerly of Knoxville, passed away at Lakeshore Estates in Nashville. He was a member of Central Baptist Church of Fountain City and the Berean Sunday school class. Retired from Vulcan Material Corp. Preceded in death by son Loftis O. (Buddy) Bassett. Survived by daughters and sons in law, Connie and John Bissinger and Shirley and Lloyd McPherson all of Dickson; son and daughter in law, Jeff and Linda Waldrop of Alta Loma, California; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; sister, Lois Harmon; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Gentry-Griffey Chapel, Dr. David Crocker and Reverend Ron Mouser officiating, then go in procession to Lynnhurst Cemetery for interment.
