Lois Bassett Harmon
HARMON, LOIS BASSETT - age 100 of Knoxville, passed away Saturday October 13, 2012 at a local health care facility. She was a long time member of Central Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband B.H. "Shorty" Harmon; son Richard " Dickie " Harmon and son-in-law Robert "Slick" Slagle. She is survived by her daughter June Slagle; granddaughter Ann Williams; granddaughter Jennie Pittman; great-granddaughter Jessica Pittman and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. There will be a private graveside service held on Tuesday. A special thanks to the staff at NHC Knoxville and to Caris Hospice. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the American Heart Association or the charity of your choice. Gentry Griffey Funeral Chapel & Crematory in charge of arrangements.
