Obituary, Mrs. Henry Bessette
Julie Nedeau, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Silas Nedeau, was born at Ticonderoga in 1861. She grew up to womanhood in her native town, and was united in marriage to Henry Bessette at St. Mary’s church, May 30, 1884. An unfortunate accident at the mill where her husband was employed caused his death July 14, 1894. Her health had been poor for the past eight years, and the end came on the 21st instant. Her funeral was held at St. Mary’s church, where she has been christened and married. Interment was the Alexandria cemetery. Father Fitzgerald officiated. She leaves one daughter, Maud, her parents and other relatives and friends to mourn her loss. Those from out of town was attended the funeral were Mrs. Thomas Cheeney and son of Victory Mills, Mrs. Zeb Derry and son, Charlie, of Port Henry, and John Nedeau of Crown Point.
