  Notes	The DeRuyter Gleaner, Thursday, June 10, 1943 Truman Bassett Truman Bassett, aged 83, for many years a resident on the Pleasant Ridge road died early Sunday morning at the home of his sister, Mrs. Jennie McMillian, where with his wife, they had lived the past winter. Funeral services will be held at the Methodist church in this village Wednesday afternoon. Burial in Valley View cemetery. Funeral Director Clayton heath of Cincinnatus having charge.
