Flora Kibler Luckhardt
Flora Kibler Luckhardt, of Easton, died Aug. 14. She was the wife of Philip Luckhardt. She was born may 30, 1930 to Dr. William H. Kibler and Lucy (Bassett) Kibler in Morganton, N.C. She had lived in Easton since 1973. Mrs. Luckhardt, and art teacher, had earned degrees in education and fine art. For several years she taught in public schools in Florida and in Richmond, Va. She was an active member of the Presbyterian Church. In addition to her husband, survivors include her four children, Lucy Calder of South Hamilton, Mass., Corell Moore of Richmond, Va., Amy Sturgis of Melrose, Mass., and George of San Diego, Calif.; a sister, Lucy Kibler of Morganton, N.C. She also leaves eight grandchildren. Assistance with arrangements was by Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home of Milbridge, Maine. A memorial service honoring her life will take place Saturday, Sept. 23, 3 p.m., at First Presbyterian Church, 2475 Easton Tpke., Fairfield.
