Annette L. Tessier
TESSIER, ANNETTE L. (BESSETTE), 94, a resident of St. Elizabeth's Manor, Bristol, formerly of Norfolk Avenue, Pawtucket, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2006. She was the beloved wife of the late Lionel G. Tessier.
Born June 21, 1912 in Fall River, MA, she was the daughter of the late Elie and Odivine (Dextradeur) Bessette. She was a retired textile worker for Lebanon Mills. She was a communicant of St. Cecilia Church and a member of the Third Order of Mary Society, St. Anne Sodality and St. Cecilia's Senior Club. She shared her love of music with the residents of St. Elizabeth's Manor and volunteered her musical talent at the Jeanne Jugan Residence for 33 years.
She was the devoted mother of Rita Bouthillier of Rumford, Leonard Tessier of Pawtucket, Laurent Tessier of Waquoit, MA and Madeleine Boudreau of South Attleboro, MA. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Her family was the most important part of her life and she will be greatly missed.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday, November 2 at 9:00 AM from the Darlington Mortuary of L. Heroux & Son, 1042 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Cecilia's Church, Central Avenue, Pawtucket. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Calling hours in the funeral home Wednesday, November 1, 4-8 PM.
