  Notes	Frances E. Clarke Johnson, 92 The Barnstable Patriot Brewster - Frances E. (Bassett) Clarke Johnson, 92, died April 23, 2001, at Epoch Living Center, Brewster, after a long illness. She was the former wife of the late Harold Clarke, and wife of the late Thomas Johnson. Mrs. Johnson was born, raised and educated in Hyannis. She graduated from Northfield Seminary and the New England Conservatory of Music. She was a well-known concert pianist and music teacher in Hyannis, and was organist at the First Baptist Church before moving to Maine in 1960. She returned to the Cape in 1998. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Clarke Cromarty of Harwich, four grandsons; and two great-grandsons. A memorial service was held at Hamel, Wickens and Troupe Funeral Home in Harwich, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery in Hyannis.
