Jacqueline Dickson
MANCHESTER -- Jacqueline (Bessette) Dickson, 92, died Sept. 23, 2009, at Catholic Medical Center.
Shewas born on April 5, 1917, in Manchester, to Adelard and Rose (Gaudreau) Bessette. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
Prior to her retirement in 1979, she was employed at Felton Brush for many years.
Members of her family include a daughter, Judith A. Dickson of Manchester; and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Dickson, and by her son, Bruce R. Dickson, who died in 1956.
IN HER LIFE: She is also survived by Benjamin Bulis, Sarah Bessette, Maggie Bessette-Johnson, and many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
All her life she loved watching the progress of all the children in her family, spending long hours near the ocean, and loved to be doing anything.
SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 a.m. at Parish of the Transfiguration, Kelley Street, in Manchester. Committal prayers and burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, in Manchester.
