      later president of the Patent Holding Manufacturing Company. From "Spokane and
      the Inland Empire" - "He was graduated nearly a year ahead of his class and
      won honors at fencing. He now concentrates his attention upon business affairs
      in Spokane, being president of the Patent Holding Manufacturing Company and a director and secretary of the Diamond Carriage Co.".

      BASSETT ? Formerly of Waltham, in Arlington, April 30, Adm. Claude O. Bassett (Ret.). Husband of Eleanor M. (Gordon); father of Charles S. Bassett of Vancouver, B.C., and Mrs. Thomas R. (Claudia) Kinraide of Wayland. Also survived by four grandchildren. Services at Christ Church Episcopal, Waltham, Saturday at 1 p.m. There will be no visiting hours. Memorials in his name may be sent to the Memorial Fund of Christ Church, 750 Main St., Waltham. Arrangements by Rockwell Funeral Service, Watertown.
