Lorena Bass, 85, of Silsbee passed away Monday, March 7, 2022. She was born June 15, 1936 in Many, Louisiana to the late Fisher Earl Kelly and Alice Lorena DeBose Kelly.
She was a member of Faith Family Ministries in Silsbee. In her many years of devoted Christian faith, she served as a church clerk, youth minister, and retired deacon?s wife under many congregations. Lorena was a loving wife, mother, and Memaw who loved her family, but most of all loved the Lord. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, David C. Bass Sr., and sister, Dorothy Walters.
Lorena is survived by her children, Wanda Pike and husband Michael, Carl Bass and wife Jean, Ronnie Bass; sister, Patsy Shoemake; grandchildren, Michael W. Pike Jr., Kellie Smithson, Justin Bass, Ashley Yount, Sharlyn Whitson, Katy Large, Kaitlyn Wagstaff, Ethan Wagstaff; 12 great grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.
