Albert Simmon Bass
Albert Simmon Bass, age 74, of Gurnee, IL passed away at home on Friday, October 17, 2008. He was born in Newellton, LA on August 7, 1934. He was retired with more than 40 years of service as a Dietician at the Great Lakes Naval Base, Great Lakes, IL. He is survived by six children; five brothers, including Coleman (Irene) Bass of Zion, IL; three sisters; several grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Magnolia Baptist Church, Newellton, LA. Interment will be at Magnolia Cemetery in Newellton.
