Joyce Eilleen Sorenson (Picture included)

On the morning of January 26, 2020, Joyce Eilleen Sorenson of South Haven, Michigan left this world to move onto the next. She passed peacefully at Bronson South Haven Hospital with her son holding her hand until her very last moment.
Joyce was the second youngest of fifteen children, born to Everett Bassett and Lulu Gipson at Hartford Hospital. Joyce grew up in Bangor but resided in South Haven the majority of her life. She married Robert Sorenson in 1969 and raised one child, Dennis. Joyce met her second husband, Emory Wiseman, in 1984. Joyce and Emory were partners in life until they decided to make it official and were married in 2019. Joyce was a sassy, opinionated woman who loved being outside relaxing in the sunshine, spending time with Emory, having long conversations with her friends and family, and just having great times.
She was proceeded in death by her parents and ten brothers and sisters.
Joyce is survived by her husband Emory, her son Dennis (Tali), her grandson Devin, her siblings Vickie, Carole, Rose, Jim, and Stan, her step-son Clint Wiseman and her step-grandchildren Macy, Trinity, and Bishop, plus numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A public visitation will be held at Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven on February 1st, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
