Mrs. Bassett was born in Cherry Valley, Aug, 10. 1874, daughter of Emerson and Mary Mosher Gaylor. and had been a resident of Johnstown 68 years. She was a member of Acorn Rebekah Lodge, Pythian Sisters arid had been a member of the First Methodist Church. Minnie married Floyd Bassett on December 11, 1905 in Free Methodist church of Amsterdam, NY. Her husband Floyd Bassett died in 1948. The. survivors are one son Merwyn F. Bassett. Gloversville; one grandchild also nieces, nephews and cousins.
