Floyd Bass on Wednesday, April 12* at his home in Gainesville, Fla. Mr. Bass is of pioneer stock of Webster, the son of John Bass who was co-partner with Ansel E. Wright in the firm known as Bass and Wright, not the Webster Marble Works. He was a graduate of Webster High School and of the Buffalo University School of Pharmacy. He served in Buffalo, Webster and his last location was in Hammondsport where he ran his own store. For many years he participated in the business and social life there. He was a veteran of World War I. He leaves his wife, Bernice; a daughter, Betsey; a son, John; and three grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Fern Davis; and cousins, Jay Smith and Edith Bass.
