Visitation will be from 10 AM to 7 PM Friday, May 20, 2016 at Jones-Washington Mortuary. Services are set for 11 AM Saturday, May 21, at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Maurice Green, III, officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Ever Memorial Park Cemetery. Susie Bass Neblett was born on September 11, 1935 in Brazos County to Elijah and Susie Bass and graduated from E.A. Kemp High School. She was homemaker. Susie was a member of Stearne Chapel AME Church. She enjoyed serving others in her community and in her church. She was a member of the Garden Club, and Decade of the 50,s. Susie was preceded in death by her parents and spouse, Albert A Neblett. Survivors include her sons, James Neblett, Jeffrey and Margaret Neblett, Ronald and Carolyn Neblett; daughters, Sheryl and Willie Horton, Karen Neblett, Monica Neblett-Green and Maurice Green; nineteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
