Alice Mae Shavnore Bass

Alice Shavnore Bass passed away Saturday, February 8, 2020 in Mountain Home, AR. Alice lived a full and blessed life for over 105 years.
Alice is survived by one daughter, Joyce (Glen) Rone; one granddaughter, Tara (Brad) Harper; one great grandson, Camden Harper; one stepdaughter, Debbie (Jeff) Mundy; three sisters, Velma Corzine, Ginny Wise and Sue Tapley; along with several nieces and nephews.
Alice is preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Grace Henry; her first husband of 53 years, Benjamin Shavnore; her second husband of 22 years, Archie Bass; her daughter, Carolyn Swindol; two grandchildren, Jennifer and Josh Jacobson; one stepdaughter, Donna Kay Eisner; three sisters, Edith Miller, Dorothy Bass and Mary McClelland; three brothers, Wayne, Charles, and Lynn Henry.
Alice was blessed with a good life, filled with love and fun times with her family. She was always found helping others. On her 100th birthday, Alice received her honorary high school diploma from Cypress High School. She was an active member of church from a young age. She loved the Lord and did what she could to witness to others about the wonderful Lord she served.
