Fall River ? Aime Bessette
AIME BESSETTE, 77, of 986 Spencer St., an employee of the Parker A division of Berkshire Hathaway, and the Made Rite Potato Chip Co. and Frito-Lay, retiring in 1981, died yesterday at the Rose Hawthorne Lathrop Home. He was the husband of Doris (Richotte) Bessette.
A lifelong Fall River resident, he was a son of the late Moise and Florida (Caron) Bessette.
He was a Merchant Marine veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Liberal Club and the Liberal Fishing Club. He was a communicant of St. Jean Baptiste Churtch.
Besides his wife of 49 years, he leaves a son, Nelson J. "Buz" Bessette, and a granddaughter, Amanda Rose Bessette, both of Fall River. He was the brother of the late Anita Lapre and Ovila Bessette.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 8:30 a.m. from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 Main St., with a funeral Mass at 9 at St. Jean Baptiste Church, Stafford Road.

FALL RIVER - Aime Bessette, 77, of 986 Spencer St., died Monday May 19, 1997, at Rose Hawthorne Lathrop Home. He was the husband of Doris (Richotte) Bessette and the son of the late Moise and Florida (Caron) Bessette.
Born in Fall River, he was a life long resident. He was a communicant of St. Jean Baptiste Church. He was employed by the Parker A Division of Berkshire Hathaway, Made Rite Potato Chip Co. and Frito Lay until he retired in 1981. He was a Merchant Marine veteran of World War II and a member of the Liberal Fishing Club.
He was the brother of the late Anita Lapre and Ovila Bessette. Survivors include his widow; a son, Nelson J. "Buz" Bessette of Fall River; a granddaughter, Amanad Rose Bessette of Fall River; and nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Jean Baptiste Church, Stafford Road. Arrangements are by the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main Street, Fall River.
