Don Paul Marr, 67, of South Haven died Friday, July 15 at home.
He was born January 31, 1944 in Lawrence, Michigan to Glen and Mildred (Grenel) Marr. Don graduated from Bangor High School in 1961. He served his country in the National Guard for 6 years. Don married Rose Bassett on August 14, 1965 in Bangor, Michigan. Don was the owner and operator of Don?s Diesel Service in South Haven for 23 years retiring in 2010. Don enjoyed Deer and pheasant hunting. He was a member of the South Haven American Legion and the Loyal Order of the Moose where he served as past governor.
He is preceded in by his parents.
He is survived by his wife ? Rose Marr of South Haven, Michigan. One son ? Brad Marr of Denver, Colorado. One brother ? Glen Marr of Bangor, Michigan and one sister ? Roberta Price of Porter, Indiana.
Visitation will be from 4 -5 on Thursday, July 21 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home.
