  Notes	Tallahassee Democrat, Florida, 14 Jan 2000 Fred Washington Bassett Fred Washington Bassett, 90, of Chattahoochee died Thursday in Quincy. The service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church in Chattahoochee, with burial at Sunnydale Cemetery in Gretna. Family will recieve friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Lanier-Andler Funeral Home in Chattahoochee (850)-663-4343). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity. A native of Gretna and longtime resident of Gadsden County, he was a member of First Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Carlolina H. Bassett of Chattahoochee; four sons, Freddie S. Bassett of Lakeland, Bobby Bassett of Pensacola, John R. Bassett of Tallahassee and James Bassett of Chattahoochee; two daughters, Betty Sue Weeks of Sneads and Carolyn Ann Carter of Chattahoochee; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
