Bessette-Crum
WESTFIELD ? In St. Mary?s Church Saturday morning, Miss Ann Marie Bessette, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emile A. Bessette of Arnold St., became the bride of Raymond M. Crum, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond M. Crum of Russell St., Huntington.
Mrs. Donald Brodeur of Holyoke attended her cousins as matron of honor and Miss Barbara Cru, sister of the bridegroom, and Mrs. Robert McGovern of Leominster were bridesmaids. Mrs. Michale Cervione of Ithaca, N.Y. was an honorary attendant. William Parmelee of Seymour, Conn., served his cousins as best man and ushersing were Robert Parmelle of Wallingford, Conn., and Robert Dazelle of Pittsfield.
Rev. Leo O?Neil officiated at the ceremony, which was followed by a reception for 150 guests at Storrowton Barn in West Springfield.
The bride was graduated form St. Mary?s High School and is employed as a secretary by Westfield Savings Bank. Mr. Crum was graduated from Huntington High School, attended Becker Junior College, served four years with the U.S. Air Force and is manager of the Bijou Theater in Springfield. Mr. and Mrs. Crum will make their home at 15 State St., here.

Bessettes Observe Silver Anniversary
WESTFIELD ? Mr. and Mrs. Emile A. Bessette of 20 Arnold St. were the guests of honor at an open house for friends and relatives Sunday at the home of their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Crum, Jr., of 15 State St., on their 25th wedding anniversary.
The couple?s anniversary was Friday, but the formal celebration was Sunday. They were married Oct. 12, 1937, in the Ommaculate Conception Church in West Springfield, and have resided here for 12 years.
Mr. Bessette is a member of the Springfield Motion Picture Machine Operators Local 186 and is employed at the Cinerama Theater in Hartford. Mrs. Bessette is employed by White Industries here.

Miss Carmelita Rushford Bride of Emil Bessette
Miss Carmelita M. Rushford, niece of Mr. and Mrs. Roland Guyette of Armstrong street, West Springfield, and Emil A. Bessette, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter J. Bessette of Walnut street, North Agawam, were married yesterday morning at 8 at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, West Springfield. Rev. John A. O?Connell, pastor, performed the ceremony and celebrated the nuptial mass. Miss Anna Wise, church organist, played the wedding marches and selections during the mass.
The bride was attended by Miss Mary Odette of Pittsfield; and Athur Bessette served his brother as best man.
The bride wore a princess model of white satin with veil of tulle made with coronet of orange blossoms, and carried a bouquet of white roses and lilies of the valley. Miss Odette wore Windsor blue taffeta with matching hat and accessories, and carried a bouquet of Johanna Hill roses.
A wedding breakfast and reception for 35 guests followed at Hotel Highland. The couple left for a wedding trip of unannounced destination, the bride travelling in a hunter?s green wool suit with brown hat and accessories, and will be at home after November 1 at North Adams.
The bride was graduated from West Springfield high school and attended Bay Path Institute. She has been employed by the Berkshire Acceptance corporation. The groom was graduated from Agawam high school and is a motion picture operator.

Mr. and Mrs. Roland Gyette of Armstrong street, West Springfield, announce the approaching marriage of their niece, Miss Carmleita M. Rushford, to Emilie A. Bessette, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter J. Besette of 184 Walnut street, North Agawam. The ceremony will take palce Tuesday, October 12, at the Immaculate Conception church, West Springfield.
