According to the 1920 census Chester was in the Industrial School for Boys in Kansas.
He was commited Jan. 3, 1919 as a Juvenile for stealing. Parole was May 7, 1920 and discharged
from parole Jan 7, 1923. Pupil 4447 It states on the Personal History of the school his parents lived at 906 E. Central, Wichita, Kansas. His Father was a Railroad Man but at this time his Father was in the hospital with maybe with TB. It states that he did use profane language and no smoking. He finishe the 8th grade. He had been employed at a broom factory at one time. He could read sokme and he could write.
His personal description was dark hair, brown eyes, and medium skin. 5' 4 1/2" and weighed 117.
It states that he has 2 sisters that are married and one brother ( 23 yrs old) in Eldoado who helps with the family and one sister 12 years old that is with her Mother.
There are copies of these papers in the hard binder with his family Shilder.
On the 1910 Census Chester was found in Newton Ward, Harvey Kansas. Kansas Roll T624-441, Paqge 4B, Enumeration District: 42; Image 1129. Hvae copies in hard book (cf)
According to Jacquie Meyer she has his name as Chester Albert Shidler.
