Francis Bessette
HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – Francis “Eddy” Bessette, 62, of Hollywood, Fla, died on Thursday, March 29, 1984, at Memorial Hospital in Hollywood.
He was born on Nov. 20, 1921, in Plattsburgh, the son of Arthur and Albina (Mousseau) Bessette.
He was married to the former Gloria Mehan, who died previously.
Mr. Bessette was a produce manager of a supermarket and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include there daughters, Hope Bessette of Hollywood, Fla, Faith Wix of Miramar, Fla., and Joy Prinsen of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a son, Edward Bessette of Hollywood, Fla.; three sisters, Mrs. Clem (Marion) Giambruno of Indian Harbor Beach, Fla., and Mrs. Roger (Claire) LaFontaine and Mrs. James (Gloria) Ryan, both of Dannemora; two brothers, Clarence Bessette of Salisbury, Md., and Bill Bessette of Pensacola, Fla., six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A sister, Mrs. Bernard (Thelma) O’Connel, died previously.
Cremation and funeral services took place in Florida.
The Winter-Kriby Funeral Home in Hollywood, Fla., was in charge of arrangements.
