Donna Jean Madsen
SOUTH HAVEN ? Donna Jean Madsen, 69, of South Haven died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2006, at South Haven Community Hospital. She was born Sept. 20, 1937, in Geneva Township, to Everett and Lula (Gipson) Bassett. Donna worked at South Haven Coil for over 30 years. She enjoyed sewing and making Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls. She also enjoyed her flowers. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Norm Madsen; daughter, Stephanie Madsen; two brothers, Everett Bassett and Mike Bassett; and a sister, Sandy Allen.She is survived by two sons, Jesse Madsen and Greg Madsen, both of South Haven; nine brothers and sisters, Juanita Becker of Florida, Stan Bassett of Sister Lakes, Carole Abbott of Bangor, Victor Bassett of Des Moines, Iowa, James Bassett of Bangor, Robert Bassett of Illinois, Rose Marr, Joyce Sorenson and Vickie Packard, all of South Haven. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 16, at Filbrandt Family Funeral Home, South Haven, where funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Monday.
