Miss Bassett Married to Arthur Senger
Miss Bernadette Viola Bassett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Bassett of Cadyville, was married to Arthur Senger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Senger of Linton, N.D. on September 10, 1966.
The Rev. Norman Poupore performed the double ring ceremony and celebrated the Nuptial Mass in the Church of the Assumption in Redford.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a full-length gown of imported Chantilly lace featuring a sabrina neckline, long pointed sleeves and a fitted bodice with a full tier bouffant skirt. Her gown was filled with sequins. Her sholder-length veil of nylon net fell from a crown of seed pearls and crystals. She carried a cascade of pink carnations and red roses.
Michael Kelly was best man. Ushers were Bernard Bassett and Spencer Poore.
A wedding reception was held at the Northern Light Restaurant in Clayburgh for 70 guests.
After a wedding trip to Lake George, the couple is living at Plattsburgh Air Force Base.
Mrs. Senger is a senior at Plattsburgh State University College, majoring in home economics.
