a few years she went to Chicago, where she was married to Ashley. They moved to Martin County, Minnesota in 1866, taking a homestead in Tenhassen Township where they lived till 1894 when they moved to Fairmont, Minnesota.

MRS. A.M. BASSETT
Mary Ann Garner was born at Liverpool, England, Feb. 7, 1844. She came
to this country with her parents while a child and landed in Canada, and in
after years moved to Cincinnati, Ohio. After a few years she went to Chicago,
where she was married to Ashley M. Bassett Feb 7, 1860. They moved to Martin
County in 1866, taking a homestead in Tenhassen township, where they lived
till 1894, when they moved to Fairmont.
