POPE, TENNIE MAGEDLINE - Services will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Chapel Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. for Tennie Madedline Pope, 82, 530 Adams Street, who died Dec. 15. The Rev. Clyde Skidmore will officiate and interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Mrs. Pope, a native of Missouri, had resided in Kern County 59 years and was a member of the Navy Mother's Auxiliary. Survivors include 4 sons, J.R., Clyde and Neal of Bakersfield and Fred of Oildale; daughter Lyda Robert of Bakersfield; brother Norman Bassett of Missouri; sister, Mammie Lacey of Florida; 9 grandchildrden, 17 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren and 9 step grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Bob Slater, Ted Slater, Wayne Heyart, George Heyart and Albert Heyart.
