Nebraska died at 10:50 a.m. yesterday at Methodist Medical Center, where she was admitted Friday. Born Sept. 13, 1890, in Ripley County, Ind., she was a daughter of James A. and Hester Anne Lasey Bassett. She married James Burton Pierce March 28, 1917, in Pekin. He died July 3, 1944, in Peoria. She was a member of Hicks, Ind. Baptist Church. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Anna Josephine Bunch of Lowry City, Mo., Mrs. Esther Angeline Demaree of Madison, Ind., and Mrs. arliss Evelyn Jones of Peoria; two sons, James Lasey of Creve Couer and Earl Burton of Chillocothe; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Three brothers and a sister preceded her in death. Services ill be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Wilton Mortuary, the Rev. Mark Brush officiating. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.
