Henry C. Bass
BASS, HENRY C., 73, of Perry, died Friday (Sept. 8, 1995) at the VA Hospital in Gainesville. He was born in Taylor County and moved to Perry from Tampa several years ago. He was a retired roofer and a member of Apostolic Pentecostal Church. During World War II, he served in the Navy on the aircraft carrier Hornet. Survivors include his wife, Idell; three sons, Jerry, Tampa, and Donald Charles and William Matthew, both of Perry; two daughters, Ophelia McEuen, Tampa, and Joann Yoshihara, Middleburg;two, brothers, Willard, Perry, and Willie, Bell; two sisters, Daisy Smith, Largo, and Cora Koon, Mayo; 16 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, Brandon.
