  Notes	The Grand Island Independent August 30, 2006 LINCOLN ? Janice L. Bassett, 66, of Lincoln died Monday, Aug. 28, 2006, at home. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Kuncl Funeral Home in Crete. Burial will be in the Camden Cemetery in rural Crete. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Bassett was born July 17, 1940, at Norfolk to Herb and Pearl (Modrow) Geary. Survivors of the immediate family include her husband, Marty Bassett; a daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Michael Armstrong of Elkhorn; and a brother and sister-in-law, Gordon and Sandra Geary of Norfolk. Additional survivors include grandchildren, Amanda and Cory Armstrong. Janice graduated from Norfolk High School in 1958. She married Marty Bassett on Dec. 6, 1959, at Christ Lutheran Church in Norfolk. Memorials in care of the family.
