She was the wife of Walter Rivers. She was born in New Britain, on May 27,1926, the daughter of the late William end Julia (McGrath) Rass. She was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Church, the Plainville Senior Center, and the VFW Auxiliary of Plainville. Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Barbara Ann and Ken White of Fair Oaks, CA, and three grandchildren John, Greg, and Collin. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 8 a.m. from Bailey Funeral Home, 48 Broad St., Plainville, followed by a Mass at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Church.
