Sedgmans, Wed 25 Years, To Mark Anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Edward Williams Sedgman of 92 71st St. will celebrate the 25th anniversary of their wedding at a dinner and reception which will take place tonight at the home of Mrs. Sedgman's mother, Mrs. John Bassett, of 8405 10th Ave. About 17 guests will be present at the affair, including the attendants at the wedding 25 years ago, Lillian B. Lamb and Roland Bassett.
The home has been attractively decorated with silver festoons and novelties, and the table centerpiece will be a silver floral piece.
Mr. and Mrs. Sedgman were married at 461 48th St. by the pastor of the West End Baptist Church, which was located at 3d Ave. and 47th St. The congregation is now the Grace Baptist Church, at 53d St. and 6th Ave. The ceremony was performed by the Reverend Thomas Valentino Parker.
Mr. and Mrs. Sedgman have two children, Myrtle Elizabeth and John Kenneth Sedgman.
