Donald F. Bessette
BURLINGTON COUNTY - Donald F. Bessette, 88, of Burlington County, passed away on Tuesday at the Masonic Home in Burlington. Born in New London, CT, he lived most of his life in the Trenton before moving to Texas for 20 years, then returning back to New Jersey in 1996. A Navy veteran of World War II, he retired from the Boy Scouts of America with over 40 years of service. Son of the late Winslow and Alice Connelly Bessette, husband of the late Jeanette Fasone Bessette, grandfather of the late Patrick Dunigan, he is survived by his two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Richard Dunigan of Marlton, Denise and Alan Parton of Willingboro; seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren, and one niece and one nephew. The funeral will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. at the Buklad Memorial Home, 2141 S. Broad St. in Hamilton. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Hamilton. Friends may call on Friday afternoon from 12 noon until 2 PM at the memorial home. Memorial contributions in Donald's memory may be made to the Masonic Home of New Jersey, 902 Jacksonville Rd., Burlington Township, NJ 08016.
