Arthur Bessette, beloved husband of Rolande "Rollie" nee Cantin and dearly loved father of Marc Colleen of Bolton and Darren Mary Ann of Ottawa. Lovingly remembered by two grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Genevive. Dear brother of Irene Charbonneau late Clement, Rita Dimmell Frank, Loreen Smith and Everett Bessette. Arthur will be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Elizabeth nee Koch and Philias Bessette and one sister, Florence Gagnon late Maurice and one brother Francis Annette surviving. Art was a member of le club Les Bons Amis, and of Pinewood Golf Club; he also enjoyed playing horseshoes. Visitation at McGUINTY FUNERAL HOME, Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Paroisse St-Vincent-de-Paul, Monday at 11:00 a.m. Cremation will follow at Forest Lawn Crematorium, Tower Drive, North Bay, Ontario. As expressions of sympathy, donations to N.E.O. Cancer Research and Paroisse St-Vincent-de-Paul Furnace Fund would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
