Baby Elijah Wade Bass: His heart of gold stopped beating, two willing hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best.
Graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Williams Family Cemetery, Wiggins Mill Road, Wilson. The Rev. Robbie Parnell will officiate.
The family will receive friends Wednesday morning from 9:30 ? 10:30 a.m. at Joyner?s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.
Elijah is survived by his mother, Krystal Dawn Driver and father, Thomas Wade Bass; his brother, Tristan Wade Bass of Wilson; paternal great-grandmother, Selma C. Johnson of Wilson; maternal grandparents, Randall And Linda Driver of Lucama; maternal great-grandparents, Carlie and Mildred Thorne of Wilson; special great-aunt and great-uncle, Donald and Linda Thorne; and many extended family members.
