Mrs. Maggie Bassett, 68, almost a lifelong resident of Cedar Springs, died Tuesday night. She was born in Canada and came here at the age of 3. Mrs. Bassett was active in religious and social circles and was a member of the O.E.S. She leaves the husband, Frank; four sons, Roy of Sand Lake and Irwin, Alden and Ellsworth of Cedar Springs; two sisters, Mrs. Violet Swank and Mrs. Ann Avery, both of Cedar Springs and eleven grandchildren. Services will be held at 2:30 Friday at the residence with burial here.
