Marcel C. Bessette
NORTH PROVIDENCE -Marcel C. Bessette 81, formerly of Rosner Ave., passed away December 20, 2022, at the Golden Crest Nursing Home. He is the husband of Cheryl (Lagreca) Bessette. Bom in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Frederic and Aurore (Bourre) Bessette. Marcel was a forkUft operator for CVS Mark Stevens Corporation for over thirty years, before retiring. He was fondly known there for his car-pooUng efforts. Marcel enjoyed traveUng, playing cards, bowUng and golfing. He was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. Marcel was a member of the Woonsocket EUcs Lodge #850 and the Cercle Laurier.
Besides his wife he leaves his children, Marcel P. Bessette of Woonsocket, Celeste Bames and her husband Alan of Johnston, and Colette Lemoine and her husband Michael of North Providence, a sister Claudette Theodoroff of Lincoln, and five grandchildren Randall Burke, Alex Bames, Sebastian Bames, David Lemoine, and Nicholas Lemoine. He was predeceased by a stepdaughter Kimberly HauUsh. Has a loving niece Erin Long and nephew Jim Clancy. Visiting hours wiU be held Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at the Foumier and Foumier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket, from 5-7 PM.
