Murray Bassett, 85, former local nurseryman, died Tuesday in Hyannis, Mass., where he had been making his home for the past five years. Mr. Bassett was a long time resident of this town and was associated with the family nursery business which at the time was on Packard St. Surviving are two sons, William of Hyannis and Murray Jr. of Philadelphia; and two daughters, Hannah of Hyannis and Mrs. Nancy Lovering of Clayton. Funeral services will be held in Hammonton Saturday with the Rev. John Hes of First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery here.
