The funeral of Mrs. Eliza Barrett Warner, widow of Theron Warner, happened at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Walker, in Marathon, last Thursday, was held from the home of another daughter, Mrs. Duane Fiske, last Thursday afternoon, and buriel was made in the Atwater cemetery. Mrs. Warner was born in Connecticut on February 3, 1830, and in 1852 she was married to Mr. Warner. They did not come to Homer to reside until some time later. Five children survive her, among them a son, Frank Warner, and a daughter, Mrs. Duane Fiske, of Homer. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
