Timothy Thomas ?Tim? Bass, 66, of 163 Sandhole Road, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, July 25th at Colonial Heights Freewill Baptist Church at 5 PM, with Rev. Tyler Jernigan officiating. Interment will follow in the Bass Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church and at other times at the home.
Tim, born September 21, 1957 in Sampson County, was son of the late George ?Bubbie? Lemmie Bass and Mary Elizabeth ?Lib? Mason Bass. He was a tow truck driver in the Auto Body Repair business with Bass Body Shop. He attended Colonial Heights Freewill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his daughter Amy Leigh Bass, parents, and sister Mary Beasley.
Survivors include: wife of 45 years, Lisa Diane Small Bass; grandchildren by heart, Aaron Matthis, Cohner Jones; special sons by heart, Chris Matthis (Chyrl) and Mike Jones; mother-in-law, Evangeline Small; sister-in-law, Sandra Lockamy (J. C.); brother-in-law, Thomas Small; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and special friends; Bud King (Lois Ann).
