Mrs. Frances Bassett Threlkeld
The funeral services of Mrs. Frances Bassett Threlkeld were held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the family residence. Only the members of the immediate family and a few close friends were asked to attend the funeral, which was as quiet as it was possible to make it.
The services, which were conducted by Rev. R.O. Kirkwook and Rev. Charles L. Reynolds, were beautiful, though brief, and deeply impressive in their simplicity.
After the service at the residence the body was taken to the cemetery, where it was laid away in its last resting place in the family burial lot. By request of the bereaved family the floral tributes were few.
The pall-bearers were Thomas Threlkeld, Nelson Trimble, Howard Curry, John Payne, Dr. William Offutt, Dr. John Scott. Dr. J.T. McClymonds and Edward Bassett.
