Gloria A. (Bessett) Ringer (Picture included)
Gloria A. (Bessette) Ringer, 81, passed away on August 31, 2016. She was born in Ware, MA to the late Adelard and Arline (Bacon) Bessette on August 29, 1935. She was a high school graduate and worked as a seamstress for the Ware Mills. She later was a caretaker for the elderly. Gloria was a hardworking, loving mother and grandmother (Gigi) whose greatest joy was caring for and raising her family. Gloria will be ?together forever? with her loving husband of 51 years who predeceased her in 2005, Richard Irving Ringer; her son William Ringer who passed in 1987, and a granddaughter, Jaqlynn. She leaves her 7 children, Dale Scott Ringer and wife Florence of Westfield, Richard Keith Ringer of Westfield, Renée Foley of Feeding Hills, Stanley Thomas Ringer of Chicopee, Shawn Craig Ringer of Agawam, Glori Koszewski and husband David of Holyoke and Richard Kevin Ringer of Agawam ; 15 cherished grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, September 8th, from 4-8PM at Colonial Forastiere Funeral Home, 985 Main St., Agawam. Gloria?s funeral service will be held on Friday, September 9th beginning from the funeral home at 8:30AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist Church, Agawam at 10AM. Burial will follow in St. Thomas the Apostle Cemetery, West Springfield. Donations may be made to The American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
